Obeying God isn't always easy.
Submitting to His will isn't always comfortable.
Surrendering to His plans often requires laying down our own, and sometimes that hurts more than we expected. 

There are moments when God gives us an instruction, and the moment we begin to count the cost; the discomfort, the uncertainty, the sacrifices, we quietly step back.

I know.

But, dear Abigail...
How many times has He spoken?
How many times has He proven Himself faithful?
How many times has He carried you when you couldn't carry yourself?
Perhaps it is time to stop counting the cost...
And simply trust the One who asked.

So, as you step into another year of your life, may your answer be,
"Yes, Lord."
Even when it costs you.
Even when no one understands.
Even when the road ahead seems unfamiliar.
Because the safest place you will ever be is in the centre of His will.
