weekly reminder: FOCUS-And why you need it

"I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back."
(Philippians 3:12-14 MSG)

Dear Gorgeous,
Focus is such a rare treasure in our noisy world. Every day, distractions call for our attention; notifications, endless to-do lists, and the quiet comparison of our lives to others. It's easy to start many things yet finish none, to spread ourselves so thin that we forget the very purpose God placed in our hearts.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 4:25, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.” True focus is not just about discipline; it is about direction. It is choosing to keep your eyes on what matters most, even when the world tempts you to scatter your energy.

Gorgeous, your calling is too precious to be lost in distraction. When you give your best to what truly matters, you will see growth, peace, and fruit in your life.

💡 This week, remember:
Where your focus goes, your energy flows. Guard it with care, and don’t let trivial things steal it away.

📌 This week, I think you should:
Pick one goal or responsibility that matters most to you. Dedicate time each day to it without distraction, and watch how God blesses your effort.

Stay steady, so much is at stake when you lose focus.
You cannot afford to, you should not afford to.
